Pink Sabbath

Pink Sabbath - Black IPA (6.6% ABV)

The hands of doom at Steeplejack Brewing Co. and Pink Boots Society got together again with us to brew another batch of Pink Sabbath, our Black IPA collaboration. A pint of darkness led by 2-row, rye malt, and other specialty malts before some aggressive hop additions headed to the boil. Praise Iomi for sure, but don’t forget about Chinook, Cascade, Columbus, and Citra hop that give this beer its assertive Pacific Northwestern edge with flavors of dark roast coffee and cocoa, grapefruit, and freshly sacrificed Christmas trees.
