Information and FAQs

What's in my 12 Notions Box?

Each month’s box features 12 unique beers, showcasing a diverse range of styles, ABV, and flavor profiles. Favorite core beers and brand new brews will be among the offerings.

What is the cut-off date to receive next month's box?

You'll need to purchase your 12 Notions box BEFORE THE LAST MONDAY OF THE MONTH PRIOR. For example, if you sign up by August 26th, you will receive September's box.

When will I be charged?

You will be charged at the time of purchase, and then monthly on the Friday after the cutoff for each upcoming month. If you need to make changes to your recurring order, you may do so before the cutoff (the last Monday of the month prior).

When will my box be available?

Shipping begins on the last Monday of each month. You will receive a shipping notification and tracking number when your box is on the way!

Pickup begins on the last Monday of each month, with pickup running for one week through the following Monday. We'll let you know when your box is ready! Be sure to double-check your pickup location; you'll select this when you add a box to your cart, and it will be the same for all recurring boxes if you subscribe. If you do not pick up your box within this timeframe, we cannot guarantee availability.

Shipping Information
  • Shipping is available in OR, WA, CA, NE, PA, ND, VT, NH, KY, VA, D.C., OH, and Anchorage, AK. Normal West Coast shipping rates are discounted to $20 for 12 Notions boxes; for all other states, normal flat rates apply.
  • 12 Notions Boxes are shipped via UPS Ground, and you will receive tracking information via email when your box ships. 
  • Someone 21+ must be available with proof of ID to sign for the package. Packages containing alcohol cannot be left without verification.
  • We highly recommend creating a UPS MyChoice account to track your package and sign up for periodic updates during the shipping process. UPS MyChoice provides additional delivery options if you won't be home during the delivery window, such as requesting it be held at a UPS Access Point for pickup (additional charges may apply). UPS will make three attempts to deliver your package before it is returned to us. If you have missed your three delivery attempts, please contact support@greatnotion.com for next steps.
Can I change or cancel my subscription?
