In the heart of Oregon’s wine country in the city of McMinnville, you can find some of the World’s best made lagers at @heaterallenbeer. Lisa Allen has quite the reputation for producing world class beer and is always ready to share her knowledge of lager brewing with others. We made an Italian Pilsner last year with Lisa named Lady Behind the Glass. The beer turned out so well, there was no way we couldn’t bring this staff favorite back again. This Italian Pilsner has three hot side additions of Tettnanger and Hallertau Blanc to coax out the necessary bracing bitterness for this style. In the cold side of the brewery, we dry hopped this Pilsner with Tettnager, Saaz, and just for some bonus razzle dazzle we also used Motueka hops.
