Black Magic Dreams
Black Magic Dreams - Hazy IPA (ABV: 7.2%)
Have you heard of Obelisk Beer Co. yet? Dave Coyne and Nathan Lampson, both Ft. George alumni, are starting their own exciting new project in Astoria, Oregon. We contrived an IPA recipe together to create some Black Magic Dreams. This hazy IPA has a good amount of oats used in the mash for a soft creamy mouthfeel that pairs nicely with all of the juicy hops we cast into it. We used an exciting new hop product from Yakima Chief Hops that adds isolated hop compounds to finished beer and Mosaic hops in the whirlpool. Things get even better with Strata, Vic Secret, and HBC 586 hops all being added to the dry hop. This heavy hand of hops is ripe with notes of yuzu, pine, berries, and grapefruit.
