So Pitted - Fruited Gose (6% ABV)

Honolulu will soon have a new brewery to visit being started by an old pal of Great Notion. Howzit Brewing is the name, and So Pitted is our new collaboration with them. We brewed a Gose with mango and lemons and a unique ingredient, Li Hing Mui, a dried salted plum. So Pitted was inspired by some late night cocktails on a trip to the island, and we pulled off those same extraordinarily bright fruit flavors in beer form. The mango and lemon are great, but it’s the Li Hing Mui that turned this mouthwatering Gose into an Umami bomb.
