Juice Jr. - Hazy IPA (ABV: 6%)

Great Notion opened in 2016 with a very different style of IPA that Portland hadn’t come to accept yet. Juice Jr. was one of the first hazy IPAs served in Portland. Nowadays, it's safe to say Juice Jr. is here to stay.

This single hop Mosaic IPA gets its start from a base of Pilsner malt, flaked oats, and wheat in the mash. Junior then gets a large addition of Mosaic hops in our whirlpool to start creating the base of tropical aromas and flavors. After our hazy yeast strain ferments, we can start the dry hopping. We add over 5 pounds of Mosaic hops in the dry hop for each barrel of Juice Jr. Our classic juicy IPA is easy drinking, and delivers all the pineapple and mango aromas you want from Mosaic hops.
