Grand Passage - West Coast IPA (ABV: 7.2%)
Ducks and hops aren’t terrifying on their own, but legions of either are a different matter entirely. Our collaboration with @ablebakerbrewing from Las Vegas is an elaborately hopped West Coast IPA we are calling Grand Passage. There are only four hops in this flock, but they all imprint their own unique character in our new IPA at every possible chance. Five hop additions in the boil using Chinook, Willamette, Vista, and Simcoe hops add plenty of sticky oils for bitterness. If that wasn’t enough we added Chinook Incognito right into the fermenter and dry hopped Grand Passage sky high with the hops mentioned above.The final result is a brash West Coast IPA with plenty of grapefruit and resinous pine flavors. The dry hopped aroma displays notes of white peach, papaya, and honeydew melon. The ducks are coming for you.
