The terrors from the Bay Area, Ghost Town Brewing, rolled into Portland a few weeks back and brewed a very sticky West Coast IPA with us. This is a no-mids, top shelf only kind of banger that we’re just going to call Knife Hits. No schwag allowed here, instead we let Ghost Town run wild in our hop cooler and we came up with something truly incredible. Knife Hits is coated from top to bottom with sweet sticky Simcoe hops that were used repeatedly in the boil for a brute force bit of bitterness. The body is purposely left lean to keep all of your senses focused on the juicy hop flavors and bold dry hop. Simcoe is once again paired up with Superdelic and HBC 586 for the highest concentration of Lupulin oils we could stuff into the dry hop bringing sweet red berry, passionfruit, and pine tree to your sniffer. This one clocks in at 6.8% ABV.
